ECR Booth Showcased Caring MR Suite
The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2012 attracted
more than 20,000 healthcare professionals and key opinion
leaders from around the globe. It is considered a trend-setting,
dynamic, and service-oriented congress—well known as one
of the most innovative meetings within the scientific community.
GE Healthcare featured many advanced technologies at its
popular booth, including the Caring MR Suite.
In collaboration with PDC Facilities, GE Healthcare showcased
the Caring MR Suite to help further humanize the MR experience
through the assuring senses of sight, sound, and touch. With
the Suite’s interactive design, patients are able to choose
one of 16 different themes from an intuitive interface custom
built for the iPad. Each theme features mood lighting, music,
and high-resolution nature photography.
Using the Discovery MR750w 3.0T and Optima MR450w 1.5T
as its foundation, the Caring MR Suite transforms the exam
environment from cold and clinical to, for example, a home
library and fireside.
