The MAGiC sequence is a 2D FSE Multi-Dynamic, Multi-Echo (MDME) sequence.
This technique enables adjustment of
image contrast by manipulating TR, TE,
and TI values after the exam has been
completed. This helps ensure that no
details are missed. Since it is feasible
to recreate images with any TR/TE/TI
combination without any added
scan time, it is possible to generate
contrasts that would not be generated
MAGiC (MAGnetic resonance image
Compilation) is breakthrough technology
that enables the acquisition of multiple
image contrasts in a single MR scan,
including T1, T2, Inversion Recovery
(e.g., DIR, PSIR, FLAIR, etc.), and PD
contrasts of the brain. Images can be
acquired in as little as half‡ the time to
acquire separate sequences and is fully
integrated in a seamless work;ow.

With MAGiC, one scan can do the work
of many and can be processed in many
